Authentication - A username and password was used to access a resource on a admin protected section
Bandwidth - The measure of data transfer to users of the server in megabytes (MB)
Browser - Web navigation client being used by the visitor (User agent)
Broken Links - There is a missing document or image on the server which a user tried to access
Country - Originating country of visitor, based on the country code of hostname
Domain Name - The organization, company, or ISP of the visiting user
Entry Page - The page by which visitors enter your site
Exit Page - The last page people see before leaving your site
File Request - The file that is sent to the visitor through a download or click
Hit - Any action that takes place on the web server, each image on a page counts as a hit
Hostname - The numerical IP number or translated full hostname of the visitor, identifies a unique user
Homepage Hit - A request for the main root document of your web server
IP number / address - A unique number given to each machine on the Internet
Paths Through Site - The map of a visitors decided click path through your site
Referrer - Web site page and location showing how your visitor clicked through to your site
Return Visitor - A single user that has returned to your site after at least 24-hours and was previously counted as a unique visitor
Operating System - Type of operating system the visitor is browsing your site with
Status Code - The web server returns a value of success or failure for each hit
Search Engine Keyword - The keywords words a user entered in a popular server engine service to find your web site
Spiders - Search engines and agents that are traversing and indexing the Internet request a file from your web server called robots.txt, this is used as a metric to determine visiting spiders, crawlers, and indexers.
Unique Visitor - A single user that has not visited your website before, based on hostname or numerical IP address
Webpage View - Accounting of the number of known web documents that were viewed
